This month Seattle Fine Jewelry has its Grand Opening at The Landing shopping center, where it is The Landing’s first ever jewelry store. Seattle Fine Jewelry is pleased to announce their grand opening at The Landing, a premiere outdoor shopping destination in Renton, Washington. Seattle Fine Jewelry’s full service, fine jewelry retail shop is located at 822 N 10^TH Place, Suite A, Renton, WA 98057 at the south corner of the garage entrance, located between the restaurants Trenchers and Vino, directly across the streets from The Rock Pizza, and the brand new Kickin’ Cajun restaurant. 

Once home to 9 locally-owned jewelry stores after World War II, Renton has been without its own locally-owned full service jewelry store since the retirement and closure of its last remaining one, Garland’s Jewelry, back in 2018. 2018-2019 also saw the retirements and subsequent closures of nearby Nault Jewelers in Issaquah, WA, and Newcastle Jewelry in Newcastle, WA – leaving a major area of need in Renton and the surrounding areas for a trusted, local jeweler.

Family-owned since 2012 as a successful web-based jeweler, Seattle Fine Jewelry (SFJ) is expanding into a new brick and mortar retail store at The Landing as The Landing’s very first jewelry store. Seattle Fine Jewelry is proud to bring the locally-owned, full service jewelry store experience back to Renton and the Greater Eastside, providing locals with a jeweler they can know and trust for all their various jewelry needs.

Seattle Fine Jewelry has a full in-house gem laboratory, and in-house jeweler’s benches including all the classic bench tools, plus both pulse-arc welder and laser-welding technology for the most precise jewelry work even on delicate items. 

Available services include sales of new jewelry, plus a full array of eco-friendly restored vintage pieces, jewelry repairs, gem identification, appraisals, custom fine jewelry and custom bridal jewelry, and a full “Jewelry Spa” where jewelry pieces can be brought back to their full sparkle through professional cleaning and polishing, and more.

Seattle Fine Jewelry is a modern, digital-only showroom (i.e. no traditional and overwhelming display cases). All their in-stock jewelry is beautifully photographed with videos, and displayed with pertinent info on the walls, like a walk-in web site. Each piece has its own QR Code to view full information, more photos, and a video of the piece. Jewelry can be pulled from their high-security vaults and viewed in person upon completion of the customer intake process. This modern, high-tech system instantly empowers customers with more information and decision-making power than the old-school jewelry store model and its cases crammed full of mystery items with no visible labels.

About the Owners and Team:

The owners are long-time spouses, Nancy and Ramir, who are both GIA Graduate Gemologists, and hold G.I.A. GG, DG, CS, PG, and AJP diplomas. Ramir additionally completed his bench jeweler repairs training at the prestigious G.I.A. and is Seattle Fine Jewelry’s master bench jeweler. SFJ’s Apprentice Bench Jeweler, Kaitlyn, is a Hazen High School graduate who went on to complete the Jewelry Design program at FIDM in Los Angeles, and has been with Seattle Fine Jewelry for nearly two years. The team is rounded out by longtime, knowledgeable members Jordan and Sean.
